Article 6, Clause 2- (Supremacy Clause)
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which Shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary Notwithstanding.
States are to adhere to the constitution while deriving their individual laws. That states who overstep their bounds are subject to regulation of powers just as the federal government is bound by the doctrines from which they are derived. Without which neither would exist or would be unchecked.
State law does not matter. Rulings do not matter. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and any law, office, or treaty repugnant to it is null and void. Compare the infringement of the second amendment to freedom of the press.
I have the same post on my home page if you would like to share this but can't.
These inalienable rights are the walls between freedom and tyranny??
