So, Prager U asked if Jesus was a "socialist?"This was to get people to think, express themselves and understand - provoke people to research. Agree or disagree with me if you want to it is your right - makes no difference to me as I can find everything in the scripture. My response was as follows:No, Jesus was not a "socialist" and far from it. Jesus and His followers were, (before His birth and after His death), often found in aspects engaging an involving government rulers, officials, the military - as agents of change, for conversion, ethics, morality, repentance and welfare. God controls all wealth, expects and demands returns. He provides guidelines, principles and rules to maximize the benefits and returns. The very first "commune" failed because of humanities very nature - which is deceitful, evil. And every communistic and socialist society has fallen and become less than nothing since because of our nature. Anyone who buys into the lies become as guilty as the liar who told them in the first place. We are to be separate, wise, compassionate, an example, ethical, faithful, forgiving, leaders, loving, loyal, mature, powerful, prayerful, protective, repentant, sensible, uncompromising and unyielding. Praying for those in authority over us, but reliant on God.
