This boy is foundered. He was barely able to walk. The vet and farrier were out yesterday. The farrier trimmed his hooves and the vet showed me how to attach the Laminitis/founder wooden clogs on his feet. I tried to put them on and he slid back out of them. So the vet showed me how to attach them. He is now able to walk and stand. Before he would tenderly walk over to eat his food then go back and lay down where he spent most of his time. Now he stands with the others horses. He is currently off medication which is a good thing because the Bute is very hard on miniature horses.
