Grateful
As a child of God I am grateful for many things. Being born anew--becoming a new creation in Christ--is beyond what anyone could ever properly describe. Without anything else, that would be enough to be grateful forevermore.
In that instant of our salvation we are adopted into the family of God, and the fact that God is our Heavenly Father from that point on, is wondrous! And that makes everything that follows it possible.
Because as God's child we have family privileges we did not have before. It never ceases to amaze me just how life-changing that is and that remains true every day.
I am grateful for the ability we have to come before God with everything on our heart and the fact that God also talks to us in prayer.
We can learn and grow from the One Who created us. He knows exactly what He designed us for and what to allow into our life to bring it to fruition.
Having a relationship with God as our Father makes all the difference. We can communicate with Him at all times and in all places, which we cannot do with a human relation.
When it comes to asking for help, there is nothing we can face that God cannot handle. His help may not always be what we hoped for, but we know that better than any Earthly father, our Heavenly Father knows best!
Stay strong! Having God for your Father is better than you can even imagine! Salvation in Jesus Christ makes that possible.
