Making and Baking Gingerbread Cookies
Yesterday we officially started our Christmas baking. We decided on Gingerbread cookies, which is a nice way to start. Gingerbread cookies taste like Christmas!
Yesterday we made the Gingerbread Cookie dough and then baked 2 batches. The rest we wanted to chill and set to bake today.
We got the woodstove going earlier than usual so the oven could mheat up for the cookies.
Christmas music played in the background as the cookies baked! The songs of the coming of Jesus are always so beautiful!
And now the house is filled with the fragrant scent of freshly baked cookies. We are sitting down to some hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies!
