All of these things got me to thinking 'bring on the apocalypse'.
That's when it hit me. What if this actually is the beginning of it? We all think of fires, volcanoes, earthquakes, the sun frying us, real, as opposed to man-made, diseases, famines, etc. But what if what we're living through is actually how the true, Biblical, apocalypse begins.
We've never seen a real apocalypse. No one has. Simply because it's never occurred. There's no history of it. No way to know what to expect when it starts or what occurs. The closest we've ever encountered was the great flood that washed the world clean save for Noah's ark. And that one wasn't an end to the earth. No, it was a cleansing, a reset if you will. Not an event to destroy earth but to give it another go hoping humans would figure out how to live life as the Creator, Almighty God, intended.
You can't count wars either as being apocalyptic events since they are, generally and simply, battles of good versus evil. Events, that if the side keeping to God's will prevails, actually avoids the need for the apocalypse, at least for awhile.
But what happens when virtually every last person on earth has turned to the evil side? Is that the spark that lights the fire? No one knows. No one! But why push it? Is it really worth the risk? Only those who have no belief in God, people stupid enough to have sold their souls for current gain and power. People who can't see the forest for the trees. Those are the ones who will bring it on.
So where's the tipping point? God only knows.
And I've got to quit running errands all alone.
