Then I came to this story. It was chilling in a land that values the separation of Church and State, a concept so very basic in the "land of the free". And why the Catholic Church of all the denominations of accepted religions instead of these get rich quick holy rollers who claim you giving them your hard earned cash will somehow get you a spot on the express ride to Heaven? The only plausible answer, if you are government where only the state is worthy of worship is that you go after the big one first. As for me, I am a Catholic, born and raised that way, baptized into the Faith as an infant, confirmed as a Catholic, educated by nuns in a Catholic school until moved out of the big city into the burbs where the Catholic school was further than my mother cared to drive. But always I remained a practicing Catholic. Pushing on seven decades of it now. I am very proud to be a member of the Catholic Church. Do I agree with everything the Church stands for? Well I did until the Conclave of Cardinals selected a socialist to head the Church. My only way to make sense of their decision is that the evil spirit infected the conclave. It was unusual enough that Pope "retired unexpectedly". But in all that time I have never once seen, nor heard of, a Catholic terrorist. Not a one! Sure there are cult "churches", not Catholic, that do evil things and take evil actions but they have always been regarded as the "lunatic fringe" headed by megalomaniacs with mental disorders or controlled by Satin himself. Why not go after the charlatans sent by an evil source instead of the legitimate faith that predates our nation, by nearly two millennia! The mind reels at the motives and possibilities of this whole government idea. Are they trying to control the Gospel of the Church? Are they attempting to keep the faithful at home so as not to hear the word of the Lord? Could it be that they want to alter the word of God to suit their NWO? L... View MoreAt Cliff's Edge A very good Facebook friend of mine here on this platform posted a meme that read as follows: "Education has been revised. No chemistry, algebra, cursive writing cuz it's too hard. Learn the letter D to vote." And of course all those things are right on the mark. But while I was sitting on the edge of the bed lacing up my boots in the dark (always a challenge) it occurred to me that maybe the most important thing was left out. I'm not faulting her. This platform doesn't give users enough characters to work with in their meme maker. What was missing in between all those truths she posted was that schools have abandoned teaching history. Tough they may claim to teach something called "history" it's mostly just the 'Fractured Flickers' (remember that show?) of history as dictated by the wanna-be dictators. But history may well be the most important part of what students should be taught. It has so many lessons to deliver. First it teaches students of the battles of good versus evil. It teaches kids the important things to maintain a civilized world, why the United States was the greatest nation ever created. (Using the past tense was purely intentional.) From a more practical standpoint it teaches us what worked and what didn't. But the educators have also removed the entire notion of "critical thinking" by children who will be the future cadre of our nation's "leaders". History also it points out which of the historical figures were the frauds, the cheats, the future dictators. And it demonstrates the real life consequences of what takes place when dictators rule. We're talking the very long term here, pre-dating even the birth of Jesus Christ, ancient Egypt is but one example. What so-called "teachers" impart to their students today is nothing more than liberal propaganda drilled into their impressionable brains by this era's wanna-be dictators. That part of is more than bad enough on it's own, but it now goes far past that. While students are subjected to lies, drag queen classroom party, blatant lies about historical facts. In the end they "graduate" with no skills, no vision, no ethics and no notion of critical thinking. Not one single thing that serves as a warning light and nothing about what was proven to work in the past. This nation of ours is teetering on the brink. Forget the whole idea of the 'slippery slope'. We are standing on the edge of a crumbling cliff.

Thanks to the powers that be in these parts it was largely left out of the news feed. But then, there was this from a generally conservative news outlet the DC Enquirer, quoting the from the ever loony left network of CNBC who's opening salvo reads: __________________________________________________________________________________ "President Joe Biden very likely did not anticipate polling results like what emerged from a CNBC All-America Economic Survey released Monday. A majority of the American people, and even a majority of Democrats DO NOT want him to run for President again. Fifty-seven percent of Democrats say he shouldn’t stand for office in 2024 which is surprising but not necessarily fatal. However, the potential epitaph for Biden’s reelection is from the 66% of independents who do not want him to run either." __________________________________________________________________________________ None of this news should come as any surprise to anyone but Joe Biden himself, living in his own little imaginary world and all. Strategically speaking, it's a good strategy for the Dems. The NoMoJoe movement is best done very early on. But remember, it had to come after the recent midterms or it would have dragged down any candidate with a "D" preceding their name on a ballot. It also has to come very early in this window of opportunity that is less than two years from now since the midterm's ballots have been cast. There's two reasons for that. First they need to select a candidate. When I say "they" I'm referring to the people who actually run the party, the big bucks donors. The second being that they need to get the mutiny behind early enough to make it a faded memory as we grow closer to 2024. Why? Because the one commonality here is that, underneath all the hoopla and theatrics, it's the same ventriloquists (absent Sam Bankman-Fried who's kind of tied up for many moments to come) that selected Joe who will be picking their next talking dummy with all strings attached. So there you have it. The realm of big league politics and how the game (and voters) gets played. As for me, I'll stick with a candidate who beets his own drum for himself.

It's a site I've never heard of before but a friend posted a link. What was refreshing is that they posted verbatim statements from the big three network anchors that were highly critical. Their ire was that Joe Biden traded away a war criminal, commonly known as the "Merchant of Death" to gain the freedom for someone undeserving of it, Brittney Griner. These news anchors were incensed by Biden's actions in no uncertain terms. And expressing such open anger against a Dem president is not something I can recall in decades of following the news. But what's the backstory here? Right now we're stuck with the worst, most inept. person for a president than has ever happened. He shakes hands with people who aren't anywhere near him, he can't even read from a teleprompter without screwing that up. And he's far too touchy, feely with women and small children (either sex). A gnat has more cognitive awareness. Or maybe the ever present ice cream cone in his hand has given him permanent brain freeze. His cognitive abilities, never in his life his strong suit, have gone AWOL. Who knows? Who cares? The point is, it's real. This 180 by the press is more than telling. Biden has become a 'dead candidate walking'. This wasn't a case of network toadies at work. No this had to be a case of network toadies who are taking their marching orders from the Democratic Party and their big mega-doners who really run the party. My take is this. The mid-terms are behind us as is the danger of sinking the entire party in that vote. And now it's time to rid the party of the boat anchor that would drown them all in 2024. This was firing the opening salvo against the man they still had on a pedestal through all his flubs, inappropriate and un-presidential words and deeds. And, like all things political, especially on the left side of the aisle, they will work to a plan to have him dismissed from the candidate list while trying to give it the appearance of Biden making the decision for, and by, himself. Yet another typical response we've come to expect from the woke folk. Childish, immature and, above all, stupid. What does Florida Governor Ron DeSantis do? He goes out and raises nearly $60 million to help his fellow man, and women, get their lives back to normal, their businesses back to normal, and their lives back to normal. That is the behavior of a real leader. Very smart move. As for Joe Biden, he reminds me of a spoiled brat four year old when he doesn't get his way says he going to hold his breath until he turns blue and dies. Sadly that is the norm for the woke ones. Just look at Twitter for an example fall of the high and mighty of another wokie. You could say and do anything as long as you were woke. Meanwhile those who didn't agree with their out of touch former CEO were censored or even permanently banned. And, as it is supposed to work, someone with the means, sanity, and maturity ends the old, pit of touch wokie club doing what smart, forward thinking people do, he made them an offer shareholders couldn't refuse. Remember, in the end CEO's are employed by the shareholders. It's all part of the capitalist system that made us, at one time, the most prosperous nation the world had ever seen. And not just for the CEO and Board of Directors but for everyone invested in the enterprise. Woke folk don't get that. Never have. Never will. The answer is simple. Management also works for the consumer. That simple thought is a prerequisite for remaining in business. If consumers tire of your product, your way of treating customers, your 'requirements' to be their customer, those companies will eventually fail as they shrink to a point where they don't have the critical mass of revenue to keep the doors open. On the other hand those who run their businesses as open to all, those without trying cram their ideology down your throat will, over time, prosper and hence thrive. Twitter is a living example of that. The 'New Twitter', open to all once again is experiencing a huge surge in users actually going to the site. New users as, well as people like me who never cancelled their membership but quit going to the platform. This reincarnation under Musk will prove itself in short order. Other woke CEO's of big tech are already out to kill it but sooner or later they might come to realize that all they've done is shoot themselves in the foot. Shareholders will come to that conclusion much sooner and the shareholders, the real voice, will come to that conclusion much sooner. You're welcome to disagree with anything I've written but simply look at the stock prices. They were sinking fast ahead of this downturn. Also look at the woke companies, they're the ones leading the way. Why? Well over half of this nation's population doesn't identify as being woke. It's a figment of the few. And especially the news media who finds themselves in dire straits after pretty much making being woke an employment criteria. In the end Biden loses as he marks himself a petty creature of political punishment and DeSantis proves himself a "can-do" leader. Like Eric Clapton sang closing out his hit song "I Shot The Sheriff… "Every day the bucket goes to the well But one day the bottom will drop out Yes, one day the bottom will drop out"

A right so important that it was deemed worthy of Constitutional protection. And it has been that way since ratified as part of the Bill of Rights ratified on December15, 1791. On that day it became part of the Constitution, It's not an after thought or something thrown in for window dressing. It is the law of the land. The law for the past 230 years, 11 months, 20 days or, the past 84,361 days. It's purpose involved a number of reasons. First and foremost it was an inalienable right to speak one's mind. But it was so much more. It guarantied a say in how this nation should be run, it gave a voice to all, it promoted discourse between differing point of views the essential part of compromise and developing a reasonable enough notion of what works and what leads to disaster. But all of those reasons pale in comparison the real crux of what the First Amendment enshrined. The unalienable right to freedom of thought. That is simply the most important of all human rights. It is what makes us a free people. It promotes consensus in making our laws, of having a place in this grand experiment. Most importantly it sets the stage for agreement on legislation affecting our country, and hence every individuals daily life. The woke folk are out to end that, plain and simple. If we were to keep thinking, or in many individuals, get them to start thinking. This entire woke rebellion would be seen for what it is; An attack on people thinking for themselves instead of being cajoled, forced, threatened into believing some narrative that is pure fantasy. The end game for them is to make slaves of us all for the benefit off the incredibly wealthy, politicians who steal the money other have labored to earn, and even the wokies. As to the on the street main stream wokies too blind to see what's really happening, they will still be on the public dole keeping their ears open to prevent working people from rebellion. Sounds more like "The New World Disorder" to me. And keep thinking folks.
