View MoreIt is without a doubt (to me) that our education system has been optimized to satisfy the needs of corporate America. The funneling of our kids through this system produces workers with skills that are optimized to support Corporations. Our schools don't teach our kids much about financial independence. They are told to invest in stocks and 401k funds (all corporate tools), once again serving the Corporate lords. Schools instead should also be teaching entrepreneurship and trades, because not everyone fits in the same mold.
