Account Settings: In the apps, to change any account settings including account name, display name, email address, or password - Please go to "System Settings" and select "Edit Account."
Ads: Users have the ability to place ads on our site. Ads are value-added as users only pay per click through to your websites. We do not charge per "impression" or "engagements" like other social media platforms. Users only pay for a set amount of link visits or "clickthroughs."
Users can also feature or sponsor their business pages, music, groups, photos, videos, etc for a small fee per 1,000 views.
Blocking: You may block a person by clicking on the three dots or down arrow on a post you do not like, or on their profile by selecting "More Options" and then "Block." Should you not wish to outright block an individual, you can simply use "Hide Post" or "Hide All From This User." Events: Users may add events and promote such on Wimkin.
Friends: To find friends, you may utilize the search bar at the top of your home page or on the app bottom menu, click the people icon and then "Find Friends." You may then filter your search by location, etc. There is no limit to the amount of friends one can have on Wimkin. GoLive:
All users have Live streaming capabilities online at www.wimkin.com. Android users with the updated apps have this feature. As of 9/22/20, Apple has not approved our latest app so these features are not functional on Apple apps as of yet.
Groups: Users may create groups and assign Administrators to the Groups. To have full access to all Group Settings and Features, it is recommended users utilize the web version of their accounts at www.wimkin.com.
Users can sponsor or feature their groups for a small fee per 1,000 clicks or visits.
Marketplace: Marketplace is fairly self explanatory. You can sell any legal items as long as you follow the local, state and federal laws of your jurisdiction.
Messenger: All users have a built in messenger function with Video Chat, phone calling, and general chat messenger.
As of 9/22/20, Apple has not approved our latest app so these features are not functional on Apple apps as of yet.
Android users, if they have updated their apps, have access to these features.

Music: Users have the ability to upload music on the web version at www.wimkin.com.
Users should have permission of the artist to post music per the RIAA. This is a great way to promote your band and sound. You also may sponsor or feature your music for a small fee per 1,000 plays.
Notifications: To manage notifications, please go to "System Settings" and then Notifications. To turn off push notifications that come to your phone, you must do so on your device.
Pages: Users have the ability to create Pages for their business, band, brand, etc. Users also have the ability to feature or sponsor their Pages for a small fee per 1,000 clicks or visits.
Tagging: To tag any of your friends in a post or photo, you may use the tag option or simply use the @ symbol while typing.
Videos: As of 9/22/20, all, with the exception of Apple users on the app, have the ability to upload videos from their devices. Android users have the capability and all users may go to www.wimkin.com to utilize this feature. Apple users will have this feature on their apps as soon as Apple approves our updated version.
