AND, I'd contemplated pushinit lower-down, past tha confluence, but the old rd that would be our escape route was clearly overgrown, n I was reluctant to commit, since ifit din't work-out, we'd be doomed to climb out tha way we came, intha dark. (N'it was already gettin COLD!) I decided aginit, but I'd intended to recon tha spot where that old rd joins tha PCT, to, at least, get'a feel for how badit was, but, totally 4got about that, too, and opted to x tha hwy, n return via Sunrise Trl. Oh well! Guess I gottago back... ?
