Place Sausage in a throw away aluminum pan and cover with water. Seal pan with aluminum and cook in 350 degree oven for 2 1/2 hours. Remove now fully cooked Sausage from oven and carefully drain water. At this point they're not very appetizing looking. Next brown the casing, either with the broiler, pan fry or on grill (do not have to cook the Sausage, just brown the casing). They are now ready to eat and I promise you they will be tender and tasty, in Sausage, onion and pepper sub or in your favorite red sauce. Even good with eggs in the morning.
