Mine arr in several photos here. My pack (size varies from as low as 8 at the start to a peak of 58 now under 20 hard working Livestock Guard Dogs (LGDs). They protect, sheep/lambs, goats/kids, cows/calves, horses and most importantly to them each other from a wide array of coyotes, wolves (200 pound Canadian wolves, along with the 100 native wolves), bobcat, eagles (dam things took two lambs in the last week), coydogs, wolf.dog packs (that killed 28 of our dogs in 2 years), a small bear population, Mt Lions- that have taken a calf a year three years in a row now, bobcats, foxes and more. They will and many have given their lives to protect their "charges". We also have a border collie for herding the livestock and a boxer /corgi cross that drives the livestock. She can move a 2,000 pound bull along with anything smaller. Above is part of my pack in a blizzard. yes, they COULD go in the barn out of the wind, cold and snow BUT they cant work inside. They are sitting outside watching each others backs while making sure no predator comes near the livestock in the barn.
