This is a conspiracy theory mashup that's been debunked multiple times. The facts on alpha-gal syndrome (meat allergy): Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is a real condition where some people develop an allergy to red meat (beef, pork, lamb, etc.) and sometimes dairy or other mammal products. It causes delayed allergic reactions (hours after eating) due to IgE antibodies against the sugar molecule alpha-gal. It's primarily triggered by bites from the lone star tick (Amblyomma americanum) in the US (other tick species elsewhere).
